2024 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Tournament
The 2024 NCAA women's gymnastics tournament was the 41st NCAA women's gymnastics tournament, the annual women's gymnastics championship contested by the teams of the member associations of NCAA. The first and second round and regional final were hosted on campuses from April 3 to April 7, 2024, while the semi-final and final were held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas from April 18 to April 20, 2024. LSU won the national title, becoming only the 8th school to win the tournament in NCAA history. Format The eight lowest seeded teams will compete in the first round, followed by the second round. The top two teams from each region will be moved on to the semi-finals in Fort Worth, Texas. Three gymnastics disciplines were contested at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 Olympic Games in London: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampolining. Rebecca Jayne Wing (born 15 July 1992) is a British artistic gymnast from Farnborough, Hampshire. She was a member of the British 2008 Summer Olympics artistic gymnastics team and a member of the British team that came 6th at the 2007 World Championships in Stuttgart. She studied at Cove Secondary School and Farnborough Sixth Form College where she achieved straight A grades in her A Levels of Maths, Psychology, Biology and PE. Shona Morgan (born 1 September 1990) is an Australian former gymnast, who trained at the Waverley Gymnastics Centre in Victoria under John Hart and Shaoyi Jiang. Shona was the all-around silver medalist at the 2008 Australian National Championships and was a member of the Australian team at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Shona had previously represented Australia successfully at the 2007 World Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart, Germany; the 2007 Australia vs China dual meet in Melbourne, Australia; and the 2008 Golden State Classic in Sacramento, California (where she won the elite senior individual all-around). Lise Leveille
Lise Annique Leveille (born April 14, 1982, in Burnaby, British Columbia) is a French Canadian gymnast and academic who represented Canada at the 2000 Olympic Games. She began training in gymnastics at the age of three. She competed at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, winning a bronze medal in the team event. The following year, she won two gold medals at the 1999 Pan American Games, as an individual in the balance beam event and in the team event.
