Stade De France–Saint-Denis Station
Stade de France–Saint-Denis () is a railway station serving Saint-Denis, a northern suburb of Paris in Seine-Saint-Denis department, France. It is near the Stade de France, on the RER D suburban railway line. It is on the Paris–Lille railway. As part of the Grand Paris Express project, a pedestrian bridge (called Franchissement urbain Pleyel) has been built to connect Carrefour Pleyel station and Saint-Denis–Pleyel station. It spans forty-eight tracks, the widest and busiest railway line in Europe. SNCF Class Z 20500
The SNCF Class Z 20500 is a double-deck, dual-voltage electric multiple unit trainset that are operated by SNCF on the Réseau Express Régional (RER), a hybrid suburban commuter and rapid transit system and the Transilien, a suburban commuter rail system, both serving Paris and its Île-de-France suburbs. The 200 trains were built by a consortium of French manufacturer Alstom (then known as GEC Alsthom), ANF Industrie (which would be purchased by Bombardier in 1989 before the end of the deliveries), and (CIMT). The final assembly of the trains took place between 1988 and 1998. They are part of the Z 2N series of trainsets, which were continuously improved over several generations. Saint-Denis–Pleyel () is a Paris Métro station located in Saint-Denis, in the northern suburbs of Paris. Built as part of the Grand Paris Express project, the station was opened on 24 June 2024 as the terminus of Line 14. In the future, the station will serve the orbital Line 15 and be the terminus of lines 16 and 17. The station is operated by Keolis, which will also operate lines 16 and 17. Grand Paris Express
The Grand Paris Express (; GPE) is a project consisting of new rapid transit lines and the extension of existing lines being built in the Île-de-France region of France. The project comprises four new lines for the Paris Métro, plus extensions of the existing Lines 11 and 14. A total of of new tracks and 68 new stations are to be added, serving a projected 2 million passengers a day. The Paris–Lille railway is a railway line, that connects the French capital, Paris, to the northern city of Lille. Branch lines offer connections to Belgium and Great Britain. Opened on 20 June 1846, it was one of the first railway lines in France. The opening of the parallel LGV Nord high speed line in 1993 has decreased its importance for long-distance passenger traffic. RER D
RER D is one of the five lines in the (English: Regional Express Network), a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris and its suburbs. The line crosses the region from north to south, with all trains serving a group of stations in central Paris, before branching out towards the ends of the line. The line connects Creil in the north to Melun and Malesherbes in the south, passing through the heart of Paris. Line D also links Gare du Nord with Gare de Lyon via Châtelet-Les Halles. Opened in stages from 1987 to 1996, it is the longest RER line by distance, and the busiest SNCF line in France, carrying up to 615,000 passengers and operating 466 trains each working day.
