St Peter's Catholic School is a co-educational Roman Catholic school located in Bournemouth, Dorset, England. It is run under the joint trusteeship of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth and a religious order of teachers, the De La Salle Brothers. Former headteacher David Todd joined the school in 2013 and converted the school into an academy. The current headteacher is Mr Doyle. St Peter's has achieved both drama and sports specialist school status. The nearest Catholic church is Our Lady Queen of Peace and Blessed Margaret Pole. The Lower Primary School (Years Reception (school), reception –6) is on Holdenhurst Avenue, Iford, Dorset, Iford; the Upper School (Years 7–13) is on St. Catherine's Road, Southbourne, Dorset, Southbourne. __NOTOC__ St Peter's Catholic School, colloquially known as St Peter's, is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form located in Guildford, Surrey, England. It is a Roman Catholic school affiliated to the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. History The present school was formed by the merger of the original St. Peter's Boys school and Merrow Grange, a Catholic girls school. St Peter's School was founded by Archbishop Amigo in 1947, and named after his patron saint, St. Peter . It was housed in two buildings. One was the present site on Horseshoe Lane East, and the other in Horseshoe Lane West. The Headmaster and a number of the teachers were Diocesan Priests. Merrow Grange was on the corner of Horseshoe Lane East and the Epsom Road. In October 1945 it was purchased by the Ladies of Mary (who later became the Daughters of Mary and Joseph) and became an independent girls school called Merrow Grange. St Peter's Catholic School is a coeducational secondary school in Solihull, West Midlands, England. The school has approximately 1,300 pupils with 200 pupils in the Sixth form. As a faith school, pupils are mainly drawn from Catholic schools in Solihull. The school in its present form was created in 1974 following a merger between Olton Court Convent School (founded in 1903) and Bishop Glancey High school. The Sixth Form was added in 1994. Previously a voluntary aided school administered by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, in April 2021 St Peter's Catholic School converted to academy status.
