St Loman's Park
St Loman's Park (), in Trim, Ireland, is a stadium which is home to Trim GAA and is traditionally known as the home of Meath Hurling. The grounds are at the western end of the town, situated on the Newhaggard Road. St Loman's hosted the Meath Senior Hurling Championship final up until 2007, when the main pitch and clubhouse were closed for redevelopment. Trim, County Meath
Trim () is a town in County Meath, Ireland. It is situated on the River Boyne and, as of the 2022 census of Ireland, 2022 census, had a population of 9,563. The town is in a Civil parishes in Ireland, civil parish of the same name. The town is noted for Trim Castle – the largest Normans, Norman castle in Ireland. One of the two cathedrals of the Diocese of Meath and Kildare, United Dioceses of Meath and Kildare – Trim Cathedral, St Patrick's cathedral – is located north of the river. Trim GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Trim, in County Meath, Ireland. The club fields Gaelic football, hurling teams, Camogie teams and Peil na mBan (Ladies' Gaelic football) teams. It competes in Meath GAA competitions. Trim is known as the home of hurling in Meath and the Meath Senior Hurling Championship final was held there each year until the redevelopment of its facilities meant it was moved to Pairc Tailteann. 2011 season Trim finished at the bottom of Group A, with 3 points from 5 games and point difference of -30, the lowest of any team that year. Christy Ring Cup
The Christy Ring Cup () is an annual hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. The cup forms the third-tier of Hurling for senior county teams (the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship is the first-tier trophy). It is contested by the six county teams ranked 18–23 in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. All-Ireland Senior B Hurling Championship
The All-Ireland Senior B Hurling Championship was a hurling competition held annually between 1974 and 2004 and organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It was contested by those county teams which were knocked out in the first round of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, with the winner awarded the championship. The series of games began every year immediately after the completion of the National Hurling League, with the All-Ireland final being played in June or July, initially in Croke Park, Dublin, but later in provincial venues around the country and in Britain. The championship was abolished in 2004, with the teams involved later playing in, first, the Christy Ring Cup, and since 2018, the Joe McDonagh Cup. National Hurling League
The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into five divisions, with seven teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league. Although primarily a competition for Irish teams, teams from England – currently Lancashire GAA, Lancashire, London GAA, London and Warwickshire – also take part, while in the past New York GAA, New York also fielded a team for the latter stages of the league. Walsh Cup (hurling)
The Walsh Cup () is an annual hurling competition staged in Ireland by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) since 1954. Contested by the top county teams from the provinces of Leinster, Ulster and Connacht, the tournament consists of a round-robin group stage, followed by a knockout stage. Formerly sponsored by Bord na Móna, it was known as the "Bord na Móna Walsh Cup" and is now the "Dioralyte Walsh Cup" since 2024. Prior to 2018, third-level colleges also competed. Kehoe Cup
The Kehoe Cup ( ; ) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Leinster GAA, Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (Gaelic Athletic Association, GAA) since 1977 for second- and third-tier inter county, inter-county teams in the province of Leinster in Ireland. Nowadays, teams from the provinces of Ulster and Connacht are eligible to compete; formerly, teams from higher education, third-level institutions within the three provinces also did.
