Bonham Road (Traditional Chinese characters, Chinese: 般咸道) is a main road in West Mid-Levels, Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong, running mainly East-West. The road connects Pok Fu Lam Road in the west, near the University of Hong Kong, and Caine Road in the east, at the junction with Hospital Road and Seymour Road. Pok Fu Lam Road ( Chinese: 薄扶林道), or Pokfulam Road, is a four-lane road in Hong Kong. Built on Hong Kong Island, the road runs between Sai Ying Pun and Wah Fu, through Pok Fu Lam. Description It runs south from Sai Ying Pun, passing The University of Hong Kong along the Belcher's, with a road junction with Pokfield Road. The vegetation in this area is largely preserved, unlike many roads in the urban built-up areas of Hong Kong. Further south, the Pok Fu Lam playground, a public playground, is located near the junction with Mount Davis Road in Mount Davis. Down the road, Queen Mary Hospital, a large hospital complex, borders the junction with Sassoon Road and Bisney Road. Sai Ying Pun is an area in Sai Wan, on Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong. It is administratively part of the Central and Western District. Etymology In Cantonese, ''Sai'' ( zh, t=西, labels=no) means "west" and ''Ying Pun'' ( zh, t=營盤, labels=no) means "camp", especially a military camp. It was where the Military history of Hong Kong, early British military stayed. Vincent Wong Ho Shun (; born 7 July 1983) is a Hong Kong actor and singer currently contracted to TVB and Shaw Brothers Studio. Wong had won the TVB Anniversary Award for Best Actor with his role in the '' Legal Mavericks'' series in 2017 and 2020 respectively. Early life and career Wong was born in Xinjiang. St Stephen's College (Chinese:聖士提反書院) is a Christian Direct Subsidy Scheme co-educational secondary school in Stanley, Hong Kong. With an area of about 150,000 m2 (15 hectares), the college is the largest secondary school in Hong Kong, and is one of the very few boarding schools in the territory. Many buildings in the campus are listed in the list of historic Buildings and Declared Monuments by the Antiquities Advisory Board. When the college was founded in 1903, there were only six boarders and one day student; in the academic year 2014–2015, there were approximately 910 students studying in the college.
