Malcolm Spellman is an American screenwriter and producer best known for his work on ''Empire'' (2015), '' The Falcon and the Winter Soldier'' (2021), and '' Captain America: Brave New World'' (2025). Career In March 2010, Spellman started his career by writing the screenplay for the film '' Our Family Wedding'' (2010). Spellman McLaughlin Home
The Spellman McLaughlin Home is a historic home on Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands. Located in Creek, Cayman Brac, the home stands on the top of a small hill alongside Creek Road. Construction Spellman McLaughin, who hailed from East End, Grand Cayman, moved to Cayman Brac with his family at age 16 and married there. In 1926, he began constructing the home to his own design. Constructed of timber imported from Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida, the planks were cut on-site. Although he had help with the home's construction, McLaughlin oversaw every detail himself and construction would have to be halted when he went off to sea, which he had to do in order to earn his living. Built largely of pine, the home was completed in 1930 and full-section log posts were sunk into the ground to support the home above the ground. Spellman Lake
Spellman Lake is the name for two small lakes (North and South Spellman Lake), located 8 miles south of Clarkfield in Normania Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. The lakes and much of the surrounding area are designated as federal waterfowl production areas. There are also state owned public hunting grounds near the lakes. Nontoxic shot is required for all shooting in the area. The use of airboats on North and South Spellman Lakes is prohibited by law at all times. A public water access is maintained on the north lake by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Hunters should be careful not to shoot protected birds such as bald eagles and swans that frequent the area. Leora Spellman
Leora Spellman (born Leora Theresa Spellmeyer; July 13, 1888 or 1890 – September 4, 1945) was an American vaudeville performer and stage and film actress and the wife of Charles B. Middleton. Born Leora Theresa Spellmeyer in Bonne Terre, Missouri, she began singing on stage as a child, and as a young lady began working in vaudeville where she met and married fellow performer Charles Middleton in 1908. They then teamed up to create a vaudeville act billed as "Middleton and Spellmeyer." Using the stage name Laura Spellman, she worked primarily in live theatre, as did her husband, but in 1920 they made their silent film debut together in "''Wits vs. Wits''."
