Spas, Kalush Raion, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
Spas () is a village in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine, located in Kalush Raion. It is the administrative centre of Spas rural hromada. Its population is 1,820 (). History The village of Spas was first mentioned in 1469. Two wooden churches were built in the village in the 18th century, one of which (the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, built in 1752) has survived to the present day. In 1939, according to Volodymyr Kubijovyč, the village had a population of 2,750; 2,650 of these people were Ukrainians, 40 were Polish people, 40 were Jews, and the remaining 20 were Germans and of other ethnicities. A monument to five Ukrainian Insurgent Army soldiers who were killed in the village was erected in 2019. Spas (, ) is a village ( selo) in Sambir Raion, Lviv Oblast, of Western Ukraine. It belongs to Staryi Sambir urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The total area of the village is 0.62 km2, and the population is around 493 people. The local government is administered by the Tershivska village council. Geography The village is located in the mountainous terrain of the Staryi Sambir Raion along the left (west) bank of the Dniester River. This area is also known as the Carpathian Foothills. Spas () is a small village (or selo) in the Lviv Raion (or district), of Lviv Oblast (province), which is in the western part of Ukraine. It is also part of the Kamianka-Buzka urban hromada, one of the many hromadas (analogous to a municipality) of Ukraine. Serbian Patriotic Alliance
The Serbian Patriotic Alliance (, abbr. SPAS; ) was a right-wing populist political party in Serbia. It was led by Aleksandar Šapić, the president of the New Belgrade municipality. The legal predecessor of SPAS was the Movement of United Local Self-Governments (PULS), founded in 2010. PULS took part in several right-wing coalitions during its existence. Shortly after the 2018 Belgrade City Assembly election, it merged with the civic group "Aleksandar Šapić – Mayor" to form SPAS. It later participated in the 2020 parliamentary election, winning 3.83% of the popular vote and 11 seats in the National Assembly. Spas () is a matzoon-based soup. It is a traditional dish in Armenia. Besides matzoon, the main ingredient are herbs, and hulled wheat berries (i.e. with husks removed). Flour, and an egg or egg yolk is included, to prevent the matzoon from curdling. Herbs, such as coriander, thyme, parsley, and sometimes mint, are added as well. The shuttle pallet satellite was a satellite bus designed to be deployed and then retrieved for return to Earth on NASA's Space Shuttle. It carried a variety of payloads both scientific and military in nature. It was made by Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm and first flew in 1983. It was carried for the first time during the STS-7 mission and called SPAS-01 carrying 10 payloads.
