Spartak Moscow–Dynamo Kyiv Rivalry
The Spartak Moscow  – Dynamo Kyiv derby is a major international football rivalry between former Soviet giants Spartak Moscow and Dynamo Kyiv that developed in the Soviet Top League. A Spartak – Kyiv match often hosted the biggest crowd of all Soviet Top League matches, especially after the last league reorganization in 1970. The match became more popular even than the Oldest Russian derby between Dynamo Moscow and Spartak that had been the longest-running top event of the league since its establishment in 1936. The two clubs were the most successful in the Soviet Top League, with Dynamo having won 13 titles to Spartak's 12. Spartak, however, has a better match record. As of 1 August 2008, of 132 matches Spartak have won 60 and lost 48. The contest emerged as a derby in 1976, when Dynamo beat Spartak, relegating them from the top flight. The Football Club 'Dynamo Kyiv', also known as Dynamo Kyiv, or simply Dynamo, ( ) is a Ukrainian professional Association football, football club based in Kyiv. The United Tournament or United Supercup was an exhibition football club tournament between two best clubs from Ukraine and two from Russia. The context of the tournament were the talks which are held regarding creating the United CIS championship, or joint Russia–Ukraine league. The organisers of the tournament were the same people in charge of drafting a proposal for the united league. Mykhaylo Mykhaylovich Mykhalyna (, , , , ; 15 March 1924 – 30 August 1998) was a Czechoslovakian, Hungarian, Ukrainian and Soviet professional football player, Soviet-Ukrainian football manager and coach. Aleksei Paramonov
Aleksei Aleksandrovich Paramonov (; 21 February 1925 – 24 August 2018) was a Soviet football player and manager, 1956 Olympic champion. He was born in Borovsk. Biography Paramonov and his wife Yulia Vasilievna were married from 1950 until his death and had a daughter. In 2016 Yulia Paramonova died. Aleksei died at a hospital in Moscow from a brief illness on 24 August 2018, aged 93. Sergei Salnikov
Sergei Sergeyevich Salnikov (; 13 September 1925 – 9 May 1984) was a Russian footballer who played for Zenit Leningrad, Spartak Moscow and Dynamo Moscow. He was part of the Soviet Union national team that won the gold medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics. Club career After two years with Zenit Leningrad, during which he scored against Spartak Moscow in the semifinal of the 1944 Soviet Cup, which Zenit ultimately won, Salnikov joined Spartak as a 21-year-old in 1946. He won the Cup with Spartak in 1946 and 1947. Salnikov scored two goals and made another in the final match of the 1949 season against Dynamo Moscow, when Spartak narrowly missed out on the Soviet Top League title in a 5–4 defeat that some consider the greatest match of the era. The Commonwealth of Independent States Cup () is a defunct annual regional association football tournament, recognized by FIFA. The tournament was initially established for football clubs of the former Soviet Union republics in 1993 (a year later since the collapse). On several occasions, some national football organizations of the former Soviet republics as well as individual clubs refused participation in the tournament for different reasons. Usually the invitation was sent to the best clubs of the Commonwealth of Independent States member states, as well as Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, i.e. either a champion or a runner-up, while in the later editions the Cup (before 2012) saw participation of clubs from Serbia and Finland.
