South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The South Atlantic Conference men's basketball tournament is the annual conference basketball championship tournament for the South Atlantic Conference. The tournament has been held annually since 1992. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The winner receives the South Atlantic's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Division II Basketball Championship. Helgi Már Magnússon
Helgi Már Magnússon (born August 27, 1982) is an Icelandic basketball coach and former player. As a player, he has won seven national championships in Iceland during his career. Club career In February 2016, Helgi won his first Icelandic Basketball Cup after having lost in his previous four cup finals. Helgi announced is retirement from top level play following the 2015-2016 Úrvalsdeild season. but returned to the team in March 2018. Limestone Saints
The Limestone Saints were the athletic teams that represented Limestone University, located in Gaffney, South Carolina, in National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA NCAA Division II, Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions. The Saints compete as members of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) for most sports, having joined that league in July 2020 after 22 years in Conference Carolinas (CC). The Emory & Henry Wasps, also known as E&H Wasps, are the athletic teams that represent Emory & Henry University, located in Emory, Virginia, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Wasps will compete as members of the South Atlantic Conference as they plan to start playing a full SAC schedule in 2022–23. Coker University is a private university in Hartsville, South Carolina, United States. It was founded in 1908 and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Coker's sports teams, nicknamed the Cobras, compete in NCAA Division II. History Coker University began in 1894 as "Welsh Neck High School", founded by a local businessman and American Civil War veteran, Major James Lide Coker. In 1908, when South Carolina created a statewide public school system, Coker led the effort to convert the school to "Coker College for Women". The Queens Royals men's basketball team represents the Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. The Royals joined the NCAA Division I ASUN Conference on July 1, 2022 after nine seasons in the Division II South Atlantic Conference. Queens has never appeared in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. The Queens Royals are the athletic teams that represent Queens University of Charlotte, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, in NCAA intercollegiate sporting competitions.
