Jocelyn Lorette Brown (born November 25, 1950), sometimes credited as Jocelyn Shaw, is an American Rhythm and blues, R&B and dance music, dance singer. She has a Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart entry solely in her name. Brown sang on 23 hit singles on the UK singles chart, eight of which have reached the top 20. Biography Early life Brown, who is of African Americans, African American heritage, was born on November 25, 1950, in Kinston, North Carolina into a musical family. ''The Best Of'' is the first compilation album by American recording artist CeCe Peniston, released on March 2, 1998, by A&M Records in the overseas. It contains thirteen versions of her hit singles from 1991 to 1997. As the compilation was the singer's closing release under her contract with A&M, it didn't feature any new material. To increase the appeal of the product, the label included alternate, dancefloor remixed takes of Peniston's popular songs from her previous studio albums. ''I'm Movin' On'' is the third studio album recorded by American singer CeCe Peniston, released on September 9, 1996, by A&M Records. "I Know You Want Me" is a song by Nastyboy Klick a.k.a. NBK (later known as NB Ridaz), and CeCe Peniston. It was released as a single in 1998. Ray Riendeau, most known for his work with singer Rob Halford (from heavy metal band Judas Priest), performed bass on the song. The song is included on the various artists' compilation '' M.C.
