Ashley Soan (born 11 December 1969) is a British drummer. He is currently playing with Snow Patrol and Tori Amos. He has previously played live with Seal, Van Morrison, Bryan Adams, Sinéad O’Connor, Marianne Faithfull, Squeeze, The Waterboys, The Trevor Horn Band, Mike Oldfield, Lisa Stansfield and Belinda Carlisle. He has also done sessions with Tate McRae, Alicia Keys, Dua Lipa, Cher, Robbie Williams, Billy Idol, Adele, Taylor Swift and many more. Early life Educated at the Grove School In Market Drayton, Shropshire, Ashley Soan started having lessons at an early age with Brian Stone. He studied music at Salford University and studied with Dave Hassle then went on to study at Drumtech (now BIMM London & formally Tech Music School) in Fulham, London. Soan (singer)
Julien Decroix, better known as Soan, (born on 4 May 1981) is a French singer-songwriter who won in 2009 the seventh season of the French music competition ''Nouvelle Star''. Beginnings Soan left home at 17 over family discords and traveled a lot as a singer to earn his living but without notable success. He also sang at Paris Metro underground train stations. ''Nouvelle Star'' At 27, he took part in the Paris auditions of ''Nouvelle Star'' (French version of ''Idol'') and was accepted to qualification rounds, without his audition being shown on the program. His rendition in the second round was also not shown. His first showing on the broadcast series was while doing a trio interpretation of BB Brunes's ''Dis-moi'' with two other candidates after which went to the lives rounds. Soan River
Soan River (; ), also Sawan, or Sohan, is a river in Punjab, Pakistan. It originates from the Murree Hills and joins the Indus River near Makhad. Oldest evidence of human activity in Pakistan has been found in the Soan River valley. The Soan Valley area is believed to have originated during the Stone Age. Location and geography The Soan River drains much of the water of the Pothohar Plateau. It starts in the foothills of Patriata in Murree and provides water to the Simly Dam, which is a water reservoir for Islamabad.
