''So You Think You Can Dance'' is an American reality television program and dance competition airing on the Fox network. Season three premiered May 24, 2007. Cat Deeley returned for her second consecutive season as host. Nigel Lythgoe returned as a permanent judge, joined this season by choreographer Mary Murphy. The remaining third—and during Vegas Week, fourth—judging spot was filled by a guest judge (''see main article''). Auditions Open auditions were held in the following locations: Vegas week As in the previous season, those making the cut moved on to an intensive week of dance training in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cat Deeley
Catherine Elizabeth Deeley (born 23 October 1976) is an English television presenter. She is currently the main co-presenter for ITV's '' This Morning'', alongside Ben Shephard. Deeley began her career as a co-presenter of the ITV children's show '' SMTV Live'' (1998–2002), for which she won a BAFTA Children's Award, and its spin-off chart show '' CD:UK'' (1998–2005). In 2003, she co-presented the talent show '' Fame Academy'' on BBC One and became the presenter of the ITV talent show '' Stars in Their Eyes.'' Orpheum Theatre (Los Angeles, California)
The Orpheum Theatre at 842 S. Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles opened on February 15, 1926, as the fourth and final Los Angeles venue for the Orpheum vaudeville circuit. After a $3 million renovation, started in 1989, it is the most restored of the historical movie palaces in the city. Three previous theatres also bore the name Orpheum before the one at 842 Broadway was the final one with that moniker. The Orpheum has a Beaux Arts facade designed by movie theater architect G. Dmitry Chaplin ( ''Dmitry Alexandrovich Chaplin'') is a Russian dancer, choreographer, and actor, best known for being a contestant on the second season of the dance competition series ''So You Think You Can Dance'' as the sixth male contestant and in gender the sixth overall contestant to be eliminated. While competing on the series, he became known for performing shirtless, with one solo routine having him rip off his shirt. Fox Theatre (Atlanta)
The Fox Theatre (often marketed as the Fabulous Fox), a former movie palace, is a performing arts venue located at 660 Peachtree Street NE in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, and is the centerpiece of the Fox Theatre Historic District.
