Snowboarding At The 2018 Winter Olympics – Men's Snowboard Cross
The men's snowboard cross competition of the 2018 Winter Olympics was held on 15 February 2018 Bogwang Phoenix Park in Pyeongchang, South Korea. In the victory ceremony, the medals were presented by James Tomkins, member of the International Olympic Committee, accompanied by Dean Gosper, FIS council member. Qualification The top 40 athletes in the Olympic quota allocation list qualified, with a maximum of four athletes per National Olympic Committee (NOC) allowed. Bogwang Phoenix Park

It is located in the township of Bongpyeong-myeon, in the county of Pyeongchang. It was the venue for the Freestyle skiing at the 2018 Winter Olympics, freestyle skiing and Snowboarding at the 2018 Winter Olympics, snowboarding events in the 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2018 Winter Paralympics. Nick Baumgartner (born December 17, 1981) is an American snowboarder from Iron River, Michigan. He competes in snowboard cross (SBX) and qualified for the 2010 Winter Olympics. He won the gold and silver medals in the 2011 and 2012 Winter X Games. Baumgartner competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics and won his first Olympic gold at the age of 40 in the 2022 Winter Olympics when he and teammate Lindsey Jacobellis won the inaugural Olympic mixed snowboard cross race.
