Single White Female
''Single White Female'' is a 1992 American psychological erotic thriller film produced and directed by Barbet Schroeder from a screenplay by Don Roos. It is based on the 1990 novel '' SWF Seeks Same'' by John Lutz. The film stars Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh. It follows recently estranged Allison Jones (Fonda), who begins to rent an apartment room to Hedra Carlson (Leigh). After she reconciles with her ex-boyfriend, she begins to find strange patterns of behavior in her tenant. Barbet Schroeder
Barbet Schroeder (born 26 August 1941) is an Iranian-born Swiss film director and producer who started his career in French cinema in the 1960s, working with directors of the French New Wave such as Jean-Luc Godard, Jacques Rivette and Eric Rohmer. Schroeder started his career producing such films as '' The Bakery Girl of Monceau'' (1962), '' Six in Paris'' (1965), and '' Celine and Julie Go Boating'' (1974). The Ansonia
The Ansonia (formerly the Ansonia Hotel) is a condominium building at 2109 Broadway (Manhattan), Broadway, between 73rd and 74th Streets, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. The 17-story structure was designed by French architect Paul Emile Duboy in the Beaux-Arts architecture, Beaux-Arts style. It was built between 1899 and 1903 as a residential hotel by William Earle Dodge Stokes, who named it after his grandfather, the industrialist Anson Greene Phelps. Frances Evelyn Bay (née Goffman; January 1, 1919 – September 15, 2011) was a Canadian and American character actress and comedian.
