''Since You've Been Gone'' is the second and final studio album by British boy band Damage (British group), Damage, released on 2 April 2001, two weeks after the release of the album's third single. The album was the last album to be released under the band's original tenure and the last to feature original band member Coreé Richards. The album features a number of guest vocalists, including Kele Le Roc and band member Jade Jones' long-term partner Emma Bunton. The British release contains an additional remix of "So What If I". The album contains the band's signature single "Ghetto Romance" produced and written by producers Tim & Bob, as well as "Rumours", "Still Be Lovin' You" and "After the Love Has Gone". Background The album was initially due for release on 25 September 2000, following the release of "Rumours". Damage are a British R&B boy band who achieved success in the 1990s with eleven hit singles, including four top 10 successes on the UK Singles Chart. They have sold 4 million records worldwide. The band currently consists of Jade Jones, Rahsaan J Bromfield, Andrez Harriott, and Noel Simpson. History 1995–1999: Formation and ''Forever'' The band was formed by Rahsaan "Ras" Bromfield and Noel Simpson who were students at the Barbara Speake Stage School in the London neighbourhood of Acton. They rapped and danced at school assemblies. Jade Jones was brought into the band when Bromfield and Simpson heard him sing a high note. The Official Albums Chart is the United Kingdom's industry-recognised national record chart for album, albums. Entries are ranked by sales and audio streaming. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on ''UKChartsPlus'' as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. The European Top 100 Albums chart was the European adaptation of the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart. It ran from March 1984 until December 2010. Also commonly referred to as Eurochart Top 100 Albums, the chart showcased the sales of an act in 19 European countries based on IFPI data. It was compiled by ''Music & Media''. ''Billboard'' became ''Music & Media's'' financial partner in 1985 and later owned the magazine. When ''Music & Media'' closed in August 2003, ''Billboard'' continued to compile the European Top 100 Albums. Karl Clive Gordon, known by the stage name K-Gee, is a British Disc jockey, DJ, Record producer, producer, rapper and songwriter and former member of the Outlaw Posse. Gordon was brought up listening to reggae by his father and was inspired to become a DJ after listening to Grandmaster Flash's "The Message" and other early Hip hop music, hip-hop tracks. D'Influence (also D-Influence and D*Influence) is a British production team and acid jazz band. Formerly of The Echo Label, they founded their own label, Freakstreet Records. Original members include Kwame Kwaten, Sarah-Ann Webb, Ed Baden-Powell, Ned Bigham and Steve Marston. Biography D'Influence emerged in 1990 from the UK club scene. Bill Champlin
William Bradford Champlin (born May 21, 1947) is an American singer, keyboardist, guitarist and songwriter. He formed the band Sons of Champlin in 1965, which still performs today, and was a member of the rock band Chicago (band), Chicago from 1981 to 2009. He performed lead vocals on three of Chicago's biggest hits of the 1980s, 1984's "Hard Habit to Break" and 1988's "Look Away" and "I Don't Wanna Live Without Your Love". During live shows, he sang the lower, baritone, vocal parts originally performed by founding guitarist Terry Kath, who had died in 1978. He has won multiple Grammy Awards for songwriting.
