''Simple Things'' (russian: Простые вещи, translit. ''Prosty'e veshchi'') is a 2007 Russian comedy-drama film. Written and directed by Alexei Popogrebski, the film stars Sergei Puskepalis and Leonid Bronevoy. The film was nominated for the Golden Eagle Award for Best Motion Picture and won Best Screenplay. Popogrebski and Bronevoy were also nominated for Best Director and Best Supporting Actor, respectively. Bronevoy also won a Nika Award for Best Supporting Actor. Dirty Vegas are an English house music group initially made up of Ben Harris and Paul Harris (no relation) on instruments and production and Steve Smith on vocals. The group formed in 2001, then broke up in 2005 before reforming in December 2008 to record new material. Stephen Lee Viksten (July 19, 1960 – June 23, 2014) was an American television writer and voice actor who was best known for voicing the character Oskar Kokoshka on the Nickelodeon animated series '' Hey Arnold!''. Viksten also wrote multiple episodes of ''Hey Arnold'', ''Rugrats'', '' Recess'', '' Duckman'' and ''The Simpsons''. Viksten's sole contribution to the latter, season 22's "Homer Scissorhands", was his final writing credit before his death. Early life Viksten was born in Ventura, California on July 19, 1960. Craig Michael Bartlett (born October 18, 1956) is an American animator, best known for writing, directing, creating and producing the Nickelodeon television series '' Hey Arnold!'' and the PBS Kids television series '' Dinosaur Train'' and '' Ready Jet Go!''. Career Bartlett's first job, after graduating from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, was at Will Vinton Studios in Portland, Oregon, where he learned the art of stop-motion animation, working on movies such as '' The Adventures of Mark Twain''. ''Hey Arnold!'' is an American animated comedy television series created by Craig Bartlett. It originally aired on Nickelodeon from October 7, 1996, to June 8, 2004. The show centers on fourth grader Arnold Shortman, who lives with his grandparents in an inner-city tenement. Episodes center on his experiences navigating urban life while dealing with the problems he and his friends encounter. Many episodes however, focus on other characters, including major, secondary, supporting, and even minor characters. Bartlett's idea for the show is based on a minor character named Arnold whom he created while working on ''Pee-wee's Playhouse''.
