Sichuan–Shanghai Gas Pipeline
Sichuan–Shanghai gas pipeline () is a long natural gas pipeline in China. The pipeline runs from Pugang gas field in Dazhou, Sichuan Province, to Qingpu District of Shanghai. An long branch line connects Yichang in Hubei with Puyang in Henan Province. Two shorter branches are located near the Puguang gas field and one in the east near Shanghai. The construction of the first long section from Yichang in Hubei Province to Shanghai started on 22 May 2007 and was completed in March 2010. The tunnel to cross Yangtze River was completed in October 2007. The tunnel is about beneath the riverbed and connects two wells on each side of the river. The capacity of the pipeline is 12 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas per year. It has eight centrifugal compressors, provided by GE Oil & Gas. The operator of the pipeline is Sinopec. Natural gas (also fossil gas, methane gas, and gas) is a naturally occurring compound of gaseous hydrocarbons, primarily methane (95%), small amounts of higher alkanes, and traces of carbon dioxide and nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide and helium. Zhongxian–Wuhan Pipeline
The Zhongxian–Wuhan Pipeline is a natural gas pipeline, which connects Sichuan and Chongqing gas fields with consumers in Hubei and Hunan provinces. History Preparations of the pipeline project started in 1998 and the project was fully launched in March 2001. The feasibility study was approved by the Chinese State Council on 13 November 2002. Shaan–Jing Pipeline
The Shaan–Jing pipeline is a natural gas pipeline in China, which runs from Jingbian County to Beijing and Tianjin. History The construction of pipeline started in March 1996 and was completed on 10 September 1997. The Parallel Shaan-Jing Pipeline was completed and put into operation on 20 July 2005. Route The first pipeline starts from the gas processing plant in Changqing gas field, in Shaanxi province, and terminates in the Yamenkou terminal in Shijingshan district, Beijing. The West–East Gas Pipeline () is a set of natural gas pipelines which run from the western part of China to the east.
