USS ''Sicard'' (DD-346/DM-21/AG-100) was a United States Navy in commission from 1920 to 1945. She was service during World War II. She was named for Rear Admiral Montgomery Sicard.DANFS. Construction and commissioning ''Sicard'' was laid down on 18 June 1919 by the Bath Iron Works at Bath, Maine. She was launched on 20 April 1920, sponsored by Mrs. M. H. Sicard, daughter-in-law of Rear Admiral Sicard, and commissioned on 9 June 1920. Service history 1920–1929 On 26 June 1920, ''Sicard'' joined Destroyer Squadrons, United States Atlantic Fleet at Newport, Rhode Island. She operated on the United States East Coast and in the Caribbean and Panama Canal Zone areas, engaging in battle and torpedo practice and fleet maneuvers and undergoing repairs at the New York Navy Yard in Brooklyn, New York until 1922.
