Shooting At The 2015 Pan American Games – Women's Skeet
The women's skeet shooting event at the 2015 Pan American Games was held on July 18 at Pan Am Shooting Centre in Innisfil. The defending Pan American Games champion is Kim Rhode of the United States. The event consisted of three rounds: a qualifier, a semifinal and a medal round. In the qualifier, each shooter fired 3 sets of 25 shots in the set order of skeet shooting. The top 6 shooters in the qualifying round moved on to the semifinal. There, they fired a round of 16 shoots. The top 2 qualified to dispute the golden medal, while the third and fourth place qualified to dispute the bronze medal. Toronto International Trap And Skeet Club
The Toronto International Trap and Skeet Club is a Shooting sport, shooting facility located in Innisfil, Ontario, Innisfil, Ontario. Despite the name, the facility is located 75 kilometres north of the city. The facility opened in 1970 and in 2014 it was officially named the host venue of the Shooting at the 2015 Pan American Games, shooting events at the 2015 Pan American Games scheduled in July 2015 in Toronto, where it was known as the Pan Am Shooting Centre. For the games a new permanent combined 25-metre and 50-metre range, a new separate 10-metre air rifle range and improvements two of the already existing trap and skeet ranges were built and renovated. During the Games the facility was known as the Pan Am Shooting Centre. A total of $6.2 million Canadian dollar, CAD was spent to upgrade the facilities for the games.
