Shabib Ibn Abd Allah Al-Nahshali
Shabib ibn Abd Allah al-Nahshali () was killed in the Battle of Karbala. Lineage Shabib ibn Abd Allah al-Nahshali al-Basri was born into a family from Banu Nahshal tribe, a branch of Banu Taym. He has been mentioned in some Persian sources as the slave of Harith ibn Sari' al-Hamadani who went to Karbala together with Sayf ibn al-Harith al-Hamdani and Malik ibn Abd Allah ibn Sari'. But, this is incompatible with the reports which suggest that he was with Husayn ibn Ali from Medina. However, Mamaqani believed that he was someone other than Shabib ibn Abd Allah Harith ibn Sari' al-Kufi. Muhammad Mahdi Shams al-Din has mentioned that Habib ibn Abd Allah was one of the Martyrs of Karbala and also mentioned this probability that Shabib ibn Abd Allah al-Nahshali would be the one who has also been referred to as Habib ibn Abd Allah or Abu Amr al-Nahshali. Shabib Jovijari
Shabib Jovijari (; born 1967) is one of the former representatives of Ahwaz in the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iran's parliament) and is a member of the "National Security and Foreign Policy Commission" in the Majlis. Jovijari who is among the Iranian Arabs, was also the representative of the people of Ahvaz, Bavi, Hamidiyeh and Karun in the seventh and eighth terms of the Islamic Consultative Assembly. Abis ibn Abi Shabib al-Shakiri (Arabic: عابس بن ابي شبيب الشاکري) was injured in the Battle of Siffin and martyrs of Karbala. Lineage Abis was from Banu Shakir clan of the great Banu Hamdan tribe. Kamil Shabib
Colonel Kamil Shabib (Arabic: كامل شبيب; 1895 – 20 August 1944) was an Iraqi military officer and one of the Four Colonels of the Golden Square, a pro-Nazi cabal that briefly overthrew the Hashemite monarchy in Iraq in 1941. When the British intervened and the coup was suppressed, Shabib was sentenced to death. He and his collaborators were hanged in 20 August 1944. Shabib first served in the Ottoman Army during the First World War as an officer before joining the Royal Iraqi Army of the newly independent Kingdom of Iraq in 1921. Laith Hussein Shihaib Al-Tawlid (; born 13 October 1968) is an Iraqi former football player who played as a midfielder and served as the captain of the Iraqi national team. Maridah bint Shabib (, d. 820s) was the favourite Umm walad of Abbasid caliph Harun al-Rashid and mother of eighth Abbasid caliph al-Mu'tasim. Biography Maridah entered the Abbasid harem probably in 793/795. She was raised in the Abbasid household before kept her as concubine. Maridah was a slave and she belonged to a Muslim family, other members of her family were also slaves. Qahtaba ibn Shabib al-Ta'i () (died 27 August 749) was a follower of the Abbasids from Khurasan who played a leading role in the Abbasid Revolution against the Umayyad Caliphate. History Qahtaba was a Khurasani Arab, belonging to the Tayy tribe. He had journeyed to Mecca, where the imam of the Hashimiyya Ibrahim ibn Muhammad appointed him as the military leader for the upcoming anti-Umayyad uprising in Khorasan. Shabīb ibn Yazīd ibn Nuʿaym al-Shaybānī () (646/47 – 697/98) was the leader of the Khwarij, Kharijite rebellion against the Umayyad Caliphate in central Iraq (region), Iraq between 696 and his death in 697/98.
