''Sex'' (stylized in all caps) is the second studio album by the Russian pop group Vintage, released in 2009. In addition to the regular edition of the album, which was released on October 14, 2009, there is also a collector's edition with an additional DVD. History The album is a conceptual work, the main theme of which is sex. The disc received mostly positive reviews from critics, who noted the high quality of the recording and the well-realized concept of the album. The disc was a moderate commercial success, debuting at No. 12 on the Russian Album Chart. In support of the album, a promotional campaign was organized, which included a presentation of the album in Moscow and a promo tour to the cities of the CIS. According to the band members, the album SEX is a musical and sexual encyclopedia where all possible types of love have found their place: venal, fleeting, homosexual. Vintage (band)
Vintage (russian: Винтаж, Vintaž) is a Russian pop group formed in 2006 by the singer Anna Pletnyova and musician Alexey Romanov. They have released 5 albums and sixteen radio singles, six of which headed the Russian radio-charts. The group is a laureate and nominee of a number of musical awards, including MTV Russia Music Awards, Muz-TV Award, Golden Gramophone Award, RU.TV Award and others. Since 2008 Vintage is a steady laureate of Song of the Year award. In 2011 and 2012 it was named the best group of the year at ZD Awards based on a poll organised by Moskovskij Komsomolets. Elena Yuryevna Korikova (russian: Еле́на Ю́рьевна Ко́рикова) is a Russian theater and television actress. She is known for her role of Anna Platonova in the television series ''Bednaya Nastya''. Biography Korikova was born in Tobolsk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. As a schoolgirl, she attended classes at the historic Epic heater-studio in Rostov-on-Don, created by director Mikhail Viktorovich Izyumsky and Elena Prozorovskaya (Izyum). Her mother sewed her own dresses. Vintage, in winemaking, is the process of picking grapes and creating the finished product— wine. A vintage wine is one made from grapes that were all, or primarily, grown and harvested in a single specified year. Muz-TV (russian: Муз-ТВ, from Музыкальное телевидение - Music Television) is a Russian music TV channel, broadcasting since 1996. It is largely modelled after western MTV and predates launching of MTV Russia in 1998. Muz-TV was founded by Sergey Lisovskiy. The general director of Muz-TV is Arman Davletarov. Today Muz-TV is owned by UTH Russia, which is, in turn, 49% owned by mtv. Muz-TV's format is Russian pop music videos, although international pop, hip-hop and contemporary R&B can be occasionally seen as well.
