Seventh Avenue—co-named Fashion Avenue in the Garment District, Manhattan, Garment District and known as Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard north of Central Park—is a thoroughfare on the West Side of the borough (New York City), borough of Manhattan in New York City. It is southbound below the park and a two-way street north of it. Seventh Avenue originates in the West Village, Manhattan, West Village at Clarkson Street, where Varick Street becomes Seventh Avenue South (which becomes Seventh Avenue proper after the road crosses Greenwich Avenue and 11th Street (Manhattan), West 11th Street). It is interrupted by Central Park from 59th Street (Manhattan), 59th to 110th Street (Manhattan), 110th Street. Artisans' Gate is the 59th Street exit from Central Park to Seventh Avenue. Seventh Avenue, Newark
Seventh Avenue, formerly known as the First Ward, is a neighborhood in the city of Newark in Essex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Settled by Italian immigrants beginning in 1870, the First Ward was once known as Newark's Little Italy. In its heyday, Seventh Avenue had a population of 30,000, including 11,000 children, in an area of less than a square mile. The center of life in the neighborhood was St. Lucy's Church, founded by Italian immigrants in 1891. Throughout the year, St. Lucy's and other churches sponsored processions in honor of saints that became community events. The most famous procession is the Feast of St. Gerard. Joe DiMaggio loved the restaurants of Seventh Avenue so much that he would take the New York Yankees to Newark to show them "real Italian food." The Seventh Avenue station (also Seventh Avenue–Park Slope station) is an express station on the IND Culver Line of the New York City Subway, located at Seventh Avenue and Ninth Street in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. It is served by the F and G trains at all times, and by the <F> train during rush hours in the peak direction. The Seventh Avenue station was constructed by the Independent Subway System (IND). It opened on October 7, 1933, as part of an extension of the Culver Line, which was known as the Smith Street Line or the South Brooklyn Line at the time. Seventh Avenue, also known as the Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi Avenue, is a signal free road located in Islamabad. It starts from the intersection on Khayaban-e-Iqbal (Margalla Road) near Islamabad Zoo, and ends at the intersection on Srinagar Highway. Seventh Avenue was built at a cost of about PKR 70 million. Recently, local traffic police decided to install speed cameras on the road to check over speeding motorists. The IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line (also known as the IRT Seventh Avenue Line or the IRT West Side Line) is a New York City Subway line. It is one of several lines that serves the A Division, stretching from South Ferry in Lower Manhattan north to Van Cortlandt Park–242nd Street in Riverdale, Bronx. The Brooklyn Branch, known as the Wall and William Streets Branch during construction, from the main line at Chambers Street southeast through the Clark Street Tunnel to Borough Hall in Downtown Brooklyn, is also part of the Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line. Seventh Avenue was a Christian metal band from Wolfsburg, Germany, formed in 1989. Consisting of guitarist/vocalist Herbie Langhans, guitarist Florian Gottsleben, bassist Markus Beck, and drummer Mike Pflüger, Seventh Avenue played a hybrid style of speed and power metal with a focus on melodies. They released six albums and two EPs. The band launched a demo titled ''First Strike'' in 1993, but the loss of their guitarist delayed their first album, ''Rainbowland'', until 1995. They then signed with Treasure Hunt Records. Their first release on this label, ''Tales of Tales'', topped at No. 18 on the Japanese heavy metal charts. The 1998 release ''Southgate'' was licensed to Megahard Records for release in Brazil, where the band subsequently toured. Ian Geoffrey Levine (born 22 June 1953) is a British songwriter, producer, DJ, and prominent Doctor Who fan. A populariser of Northern soul music in the UK, and a developer of the style of hi-NRG, he has co-written and co-produced records with sales totalling over 40 million.
