''Secretos'' (Secrets) is the 19th studio album by Mexican performer José José, It was released by RCA Ariola in 1983 (see 1983 in music). It was written, produced and arranged by Manuel Alejandro. ''Secretos'' became José José's first collaboration with Manuel Alejandro on album and went on to become the most popular of Jose José's career. One of the all-time best-selling albums in Mexico, sales there vary from an estimated 2 million to as high as 5 million copies. "Secretos" reached the top of the ''Billboard'' charts. José José
José Rómulo Sosa Ortiz (17 February 1948 – 28 September 2019), known professionally as José José, was a Mexican singer. Also known as ''El Príncipe de la Canción'' (The Prince of Song), his performance and vocal style have influenced many Latin pop artists in a career that spanned more than four decades. Due to his vocals and popularity, José José was considered by Latin audience and media as an icon of Latin pop music and one of the most emblematic Latin singers of his time. Born into a family of musicians, José began his musical career in his early teens playing guitar and singing in serenade. ''El Siglo de Torreón'' is a Mexican daily newspaper based in Comarca Lagunera, Mexico. It was founded in 1922 in Torreón, Coahuila by Antonio de Juambelz y Bracho under the direction of Joaquin Moreno. Akwid is a Chicano rap group. Brothers Francisco "AK" Gómez and Sergio "Wikid" Gómez, who make up Akwid, are originally from Jiquilpan, Michoacán, but grew up in Los Angeles, California.
