Ramon del Fierro Magsaysay Sr. (August 31, 1907 – March 17, 1957) was a Filipino statesman who served as the seventh President of the Philippines, from December 30, 1953, until his death in an 1957 Cebu Douglas C-47 crash, aircraft disaster on March 17, 1957, the most recent Philippine president to die in office. Sotero Julao Baluyut (born Sotero Baluyut y Julao; January 3, 1889 – January 6, 1975), also known as Sotero Baluyot, was a Filipino politician and civil engineer. He served as Governor of Pampanga from 1925 to 1931 and 1938 to 1941, Secretary of Public Works and the Interior and Senator of the Philippines from 1931 to 1935. Early life, education, and career Sotero Baluyut was born on January 3, 1889, in San Fernando, Pampanga. His parents were Leoncio Baluyut and Casimira Julao. Prospero Casia Sanidad (17 January 1897 – 1969) was a Filipino lawyer and politician. He represented the second district of Ilocos Sur at the House of Representatives of the Philippines from 1934 to 1935, again from 1938 to 1941, and finally from 1945 to 1946.
