Seán Ó Súilleabháin
Seán Ó Súilleabháin (30 November 1903 – 13 December 1996) was a teacher and folklorist with the Irish Folklore Commission. He was a native Irish speaker from County Kerry. Educated at St Brendan's College, Killarney, he trained as a national school teacher from 1921 to 1923 at De La Salle College Waterford. He worked as a teacher in County Kilkenny and Mount Sion Primary School, Mount Sion, Waterford. In 1934, he earned an external BA in Celtic Studies from University College London, followed by an MA. In 1935, he became the first archivist with the Irish Folklore Commission, which had been established, and received training at Uppsala University in Sweden. Following the commission's closure, he worked as a lecturer at University College Dublin. He was awarded an honorary DLittCelt from the National University of Ireland in 1976. Sean Daniel O'Sullivan (born September 1, 1987) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Kansas City Royals, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies, and Boston Red Sox and in the KBO League for the Nexen Heroes. Amateur & college career O'Sullivan played baseball for Valhalla High School (El Cajon, California), near San Diego. In 2004, he went 11–1, with his only loss to El Capitan High School (California), El Capitan High School (in Lakeside, California) in the finals of the California Interscholastic Federation San Diego Section championship. Seán O'Sullivan is an Irish sportsman who played Gaelic football for the Kerry senior football team and at club level with Cromane GAA club. Playing career Underage O'Sullivan played with the Kerry minor team in 1998. Wins over Waterford after a re-play and Limerick seen him win a Munster Minor Football Championship medal. O'Sullivan and co lost out to Laois in the All-Ireland semi-final. Seán O'Sullivan (20 June 1906 – 3 May 1964) was an Irish people, Irish Painting, painter and designer known for his portraits and stamp designs. Early life and family O'Sullivan was educated at Synge Street CBS in Dublin and went on to study drawing at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin Metropolitan School of Art. Here, came to the attention of headmaster George Atkinson (artist), George Atkinson who arranged a three-month placement for him to study lithography at the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London. While in London, O'Sullivan met painter Renée Mouw, whom he soon married. The pair studied in Paris before moving to Dublin. He studied painting in Paris at Colarossi's and La Grande Chaumiere. Sean Patrick Paul O'Sullivan (1 January 1952– 9 March 1989), was a Canadian politician who left politics to become a Roman Catholic priest. Born in 1952 in Hamilton, Ontario, O'Sullivan showed an interest in politics at a young age. When he was 11 years old, he worked for Ellen Fairclough in her election campaign and met John Diefenbaker for the first time. He was educated at Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School and Brock University in St. Catharines. When he was just 15 years old, he was named Western Ontario representative of the Youth for Diefenbaker movement. This movement was formed in Ottawa to engage the support of Canada's young conservatives for John Diefenbaker at the leadership convention.
