''Seven'' (stylized as ''SE7EN'') is a comic book edited by David Seidman and Ralph Tedesco. It was published as a hardcover edition by Zenescope Entertainment on January 15, 2008, and is based on the 1995 film of the same name directed by David Fincher. Zenescope acquired the license to adapt the film after building a strong relationship with New Line Cinema, the owner of the film. Publication history The series, originally published in seven monthly issue series from September 2006 to October 2007, was collected in one hardcover volume in January 2008. Choi Dong-wook (; born November 9, 1984), better known by his stage name Seven (; stylized as Se7en), is a South Korean singer. He made his debut in 2003 with the studio album '' Just Listen'', which sold over 210,000 copies by the end of the year and spawned the hit single "Come Back to Me". Brokencyde (stylized as brokeNCYDE) is an American hip hop group from Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded in 2006. The group's lineup consists of Michael "Mikl" Shea and Julian "Phat J" McLellan, and musically are one of the founding groups in the crunkcore genre, which (in general description) is crunk hip hop music with screamed vocals. History Formation, record deal and debut album (2006–2009) Brokencyde was founded by singers Se7en and Mikl. The name of the group supposedly originated from the idea that their music was "broke inside" due to personal problems.
