''Scream'' is the debut English studio album and the third overall studio album by German band Tokio Hotel. It contains English versions of songs from their previous albums '' Schrei'' and '' Zimmer 483'': eight of the twelve songs come from ''Zimmer 483'' while the remaining four originated from ''Schrei''. The name ''Scream'' is the English translation of the name of the first Tokio Hotel album, '' Schrei''. In German-speaking countries, the album was released as ''Room 483'' – the English translation of their second album's name ("''Zimmer 483''"). The first single released from the album was simply called "Monsoon" – not "Through the Monsoon" (the literal translation of the original, " Durch den Monsun"). Tokio Hotel
Tokio Hotel is a German music band formed in 2001 by singer Bill Kaulitz, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing, and drummer Gustav Schäfer. Starting from the foundation, the band's music genres were pop rock and alternative rock; since 2014, the band began to perform electropop and synth-pop. "Durch den Monsun" () and "Monsoon" are songs by German pop rock band Tokio Hotel. The German version of "Durch den Monsun" was released as the band's debut single in 2005 from their debut album, ''Schrei''. The album ''Schrei'' also contains the Japanese version of the song. The single version involved a re-recording because singer Bill Kaulitz's voice broke after the release of the album. The band later recorded an English-language version of the song, entitled "Rescue Me", for their third studio album ''Scream''. Bill Kaulitz (; born 1 September 1989), also known as Billy for his solo project, is a German singer and songwriter. He is best known for his work as the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Tokio Hotel. Early life Kaulitz was born on 1 September 1989 in Leipzig, East Germany. He has an identical twin brother, Tom, who is older by ten minutes. His parents, Simone Kaulitz and Jörg W., separated when Kaulitz was seven years old. Simone married Gordon Trümper, the guitarist from German rock band Fatun on 1 August 2009, after dating for 12 years. Kaulitz showed an early interest in singing, as did Tom in playing guitar.
