Saša Marković (Serbian Cyrillic alphabet, Serbian Cyrillic: Саша Марковић; born 13 March 1991) is a Serbian Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder for OFK Beograd. Club career Early career Marković played for youth selections of FK Kopaonik, Kopaonik and FK Partizan, Partizan, before moving to OFK Beograd in 2007. He made his first team debut with the Romantics during the 2008–09 Serbian SuperLiga, 2008–09 season. Marković played 49 league matches, scoring four goals during his stint at Karaburma. By Football Association of Serbia, Serbian FA Sasa Markovic was pronounced as best young player of Serbian Serbian SuperLiga, Super Liga for year 2011. 2009–10 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2009–10 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the fourth season of the SuperLiga since its establishment in 2006. It began on 15 August 2009 and ended on 16 May 2010. A total of sixteen teams contested the league, with Partizan the defending champions. Changes from the 2008–09 season Structure changes The league size was expanded from twelve teams to sixteen prior to this season. As a consequence, the number of matches for each team was reduced from 33 to 30. Team changes Due to the league expansion, only 12th-placed Banat Zrenjanin were relegated to the First League. The Cyprus national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team for Cyprus. It is controlled by the Cyprus Football Association. The team drew their first official match 0–0 in 1978 at home to Spain in a qualifying match for the 1980 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. They then drew 0–0 with the trophy holders Yugoslavia, also at home. They lost both away games though. And finished last in the group of three teams, with two points from four games, and so did not qualify for the Finals. In the qualifying stages for the 1982 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, Cyprus made history when they defeated France 2–1 in Cyprus as it was the countries first ever official victory at National or Under-21 football level. 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualification
The 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship started with a qualifying competition which began on 27 March 2009 and finished on 13 October 2010. The final tournament was held in Denmark between 11–25 June 2011. The first stage of the qualifying competition was a group stage followed by play-offs.
