Robert Hartford-Davis
Robert Hartford-Davis (born William Henry Davis, 23 July 1923 – 12 June 1977) was a British born producer, director and writer, who worked on film and television in both the United Kingdom and United States. He is also sometimes credited as Michael Burrowes or Robert Hartford. Biography Hartford-Davis was born in Ramsgate, Kent in 1923 as William Henry Davis; he changed his name on becoming a television director in 1955. His television career encompassed drama, comedy and entertainment shows. Bob, as he liked to be called, started his career as an electrician in a South London film studio, where he went on to develop his skills as a cameraman. Colin Campbell (actor)
Colin Campbell (17 January 1937 – 1 March 2018) was an English actor. Life His best-known role was the lead in '' The Leather Boys'' in 1964, in which he plays a bored married man who starts hanging out with a biker friend—who, he belatedly realises, is homosexual. Campbell started off as a child actor, and played John in the 1950s BBC radio Children's Hour adaptation of ''Worzel Gummidge'', and the title role in BBC TV's ''Huckleberry Finn'' in 1952. His stage work included appearances at the Old Vic and with the RSC. He also starred in ''Nuns on the Run'' (1990) and made many appearances on British television, including in the role of David Ashton, one of the main characters in the popular ITV drama series ''A Family At War'' which was broadcast from 1970 to 1972. Shepperton Studios is a film studio located in Shepperton, Surrey, England, with a history dating back to 1931. It is now part of Pinewood Group, the Pinewood Studios Group. During its early existence, the studio was branded as Sound City (not to be confused with the Californian recording studio of Sound City Studios, the same name). Barry Langford
Barry Langford (7 February 1926 – 25 July 2012) was a British television and music director, producer, and businessman. He directed many television programmes for the BBC in the 1960s and 1970s, and also worked as manager for musical artists including David Bowie and Tom Jones. The Searchers are an English rock group formed in Liverpool in 1959. Part of the Merseybeat scene, they flourished during the British Invasion of the 1960s, with hits including " Sweets for My Sweet", " Love Potion No. 9", " Sugar and Spice", " Needles and Pins", " Don't Throw Your Love Away", " When You Walk in the Room", " What Have They Done to the Rain" and " Goodby My Love". Frederick Percival Mills (26 June 1919 – 25 July 1965) was an English boxer, and the world light heavyweight champion from 1948 to 1950.
