Sarasa Venkatanarayana Bhatti (born on 6 May 1962) is a judge of the Supreme Court of India. He is former chief justice of the Kerala High Court. He has also served as the acting chief justice of the Kerala High Court and judge of the Kerala High Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court. Alphonse Antonio de Sarasa, SJ was a Jesuit mathematician who contributed to the understanding of logarithms, particularly as areas under a hyperbola. Biography Alphonse de Sarasa was born in 1618, in Nieuwpoort in Flanders. In 1632 he was admitted as a novice in Ghent. It was there that he worked alongside Gregoire de Saint-Vincent whose ideas he developed, exploited, and promulgated. According to Sommervogel, Alphonse de Sarasa also held academic positions in Antwerp and Brussels. In 1649 Alphonse de Sarasa published ''Solutio problematis a R.P. Marino Mersenne Minimo propositi''. Basara (manga)
is a Japanese fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Yumi Tamura. The story takes place in a future Japan, reduced to a barren desert by a catastrophe at the end of the 21st century. The main character is Sarasa, a girl whose twin brother, Tatara, is prophesied to be the "child of destiny" ( or ) who will bring back the country's independence and stop the tyrannical rule of the Empire, namely the Red King. When Tatara is killed, Sarasa pretends to be him in order to keep the downtrodden from losing hope. The manga was serialized in Shogakukan's ''Bessatsu Shōjo Comic'' magazine from September 1990 to June 1998. Shogakukan collected the individual chapters into 27 bound volumes under the Flower Comics imprint from March 1991 to March 2000.
