Howard Philip Ladd (1921–2015) was an electrical engineer, inventor, marketer, entrepreneur and bank founder. Ladd was a pioneering giant in American and international consumer audio and video electronics. Toshio Iue
was a Japanese inventor and industrialist who founded Sanyo, Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. Prior to the founding of Sanyo, he played an influential role in the growth and development of Panasonic Corporation, Matsushita Electric Works, working closely alongside his brother-in-law and lifetime confidant, Konosuke Matsushita.
