Santo, Sam And Ed's Total Football
''Santo, Sam and Ed's Total Football'' was an Australian association football themed comedy television show, hosted by Santo Cilauro, Sam Pang and Ed Kavalee. The series launched in 2013, screening each Tuesday on Fox Sports (Australia), Fox Sports from October to May, in line with the network's A-League coverage. In October 2015, it was announced that the show would not return for a third season. The show focused on both the A-League and a range of global football leagues, and included a variety of segments and interviews throughout each episode. Santo Cilauro
Santo Luigi Cilauro (born 25 November 1961) is an Australian comedian, television and feature film producer, screenwriter, actor, author and cameraman who is also a co-founder of ''The D-Generation''. Known as the weatherman in ''Frontline (Australian TV series), Frontline'', he is also an author and former radio presenter on Triple M, and achieved worldwide fame with the viral video ''Elektronik Supersonik''. Early life Cilauro was born in 1961 in Melbourne, Australia to parents of Italian descent. Cilauro attended Xavier College and the University of Melbourne and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws in 1987. In 1984, while walking to his aunt's house in Melbourne, he stumbled across a Juventus press conference during their tour of Australia, and after seeing coach Giovanni Trapattoni struggle to answer questions in English, used his Italian skills to translate, which resulted in Cilauro becoming the team translator for the rest of the tour. Rob Sitch
Robert Ian Sitch (born 17 March 1962) is an Australian filmmaker, actor and comedian. He directed and co-wrote the comedy films '' The Castle'' (1997) and ''The Dish'' (2000); the former of which is often considered one of the greatest Australian films ever made. On television, he is known for the 1990s comedy series '' Frontline'' and the long-running comedy series ''Utopia'' (2014–present). Early life and education Sitch graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Melbourne, and practised medicine for a short time. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for ABC Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015. Samuel Pang is an Australian comedian, television presenter, writer, producer and former radio host. Pang is a host of '' The Front Bar'' with Mick Molloy and Andy Maher and is a regular panellist, alongside Ed Kavalee, on Network 10's '' Have You Been Paying Attention?.'' He also hosts his own weekly veriety tonight show ''Sam Pang Tonight''. Pang has hosted the Logie Awards in 2023 and 2024.
