Sandsøya is an island in Sande Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island lies west of the island of Gurskøya, north of the island of Voksa, and northeast of the island of Kvamsøya. The main village on the island is Sandshamn on the eastern shore. The Sande Church is located on the southern shore. The island is connected to the island of Voksa to the south by a bridge/road/causeway. There is a ferry connection from Voksa to the mainland, to Kvamsøya, and to the village of Larsnes on Gurskøya island. Gurskøya
Gurskøya is an island in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Settlements The island is shared by Sande Municipality and Herøy Municipality. The villages of Haugsbygda, Gjerdsvika, Larsnes, Leikong and Moldtustranda are located on the island. The southern part of the island was historically part of the old Rovde Municipality. Voksa
Voksa is an island in Sande Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island lies about east of the island of Kvamsøya, about south of the island of Sandsøya, about west of the larger island of Gurskøya, and about north of the mainland village of Åram in neighboring Vanylven Municipality. The island is fairly flat except for one high hill along the southern shore. There are a few residents of the island, scattered about several farms on the island. Since 1965, there has been a long road/bridge/causeway connection to the island of Sandsøya (to the north). The residents of Sandsøya must drive to Voksa to reach the only regular ferry connection to the islands. Kvamsøya is an island in Sande Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located east of the Stad peninsula in Stad Municipality and about west of the village of Larsnes on the island of Gurskøya. The island lies in the Vanylvsgapet, the entrance to the Vanylvsfjorden. The island has been inhabited for a very long time. Sande Church (Sunnmøre)
Sande Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Sande Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Sande on the southern shore of the island of Sandsøya. It is the church for the Sande parish which is part of the Søre Sunnmøre prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1880 using plans drawn up by the architect Jon Sefland. The Swiss chalet style church seats about 400 people.
