Scott Sandelin
Scott Alan Sandelin (born August 8, 1964) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He is currently the head coach of the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs men's ice hockey team. In 2011, he became the first coach in Bulldog history to lead them to a national title, in a 3–2 overtime game against the University of Michigan at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In the 2018 NCAAs, he led the Bulldogs to a second national title, over Notre Dame 2–1, also played at the Xcel Energy Center. The following season, in the 2019 NCAAs, he led the Bulldogs to a third national title. Sandelin grew up in Hibbing, Minnesota, where he went on to be drafted in the second round by the Montreal Canadiens (40th overall) and play collegiate hockey for the North Dakota Fighting Sioux. Jarmo Sandelin
Jarmo Sakari Sandelin (born 10 May 1967) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the European Senior Tour. He had five European Tour wins and played in the 1999 Ryder Cup. Early life Sandelin was born in Imatra, Finland, but grew up in Sweden and became a Swedish citizen. Professional career Sandelin turned professional in 1987 and despite several visits to qualifying school, did not win a place on the European Tour until 1995 when he graduated from the second tier Challenge Tour by finishing in 9th place on the end of season rankings in 1994. He won the Turespana Open De Canaria during his début season as he finished in 21st place on the Order of Merit and was named the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year. In 1996, Sandelin played on the United States–based PGA Tour, but made just one cut from 14 tournament starts during the season. Christer Sandelin
Christer Eric Sandelin (born 5 November 1961) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician. He has been a part of two groups. In 1978, he was in the Swedish group Freestyle with Tommy Ekman, Joakim Hagleitner, Gigi Hamilton, Diane Söderholm and Anders Uddbergand, and after the break-up of the band in 1983, he continued with Ekman and Hamilton to form the Swedish band trio Style. In 1989, he started his solo career with his debut album ''Luften darrar'' and has had a number of albums. He has also produced for a number of artists Lars Vegas trio and the duos Ronny och Ragge, Rob'n'Raz, Antique and The Graaf Sisters ( Magdalena Graaf and Hannah Graaf) and singer Vicki Benckert. Torsten Sandelin
Karl Viktor Torsten Sandelin (28 September 1887 – 8 May 1950) was a Finnish Olympic bronze medalist. Biography Sandelin's parents were rural dean Frans Viktor Sandelin and Emma Josefina Durchman. He married Aina Emilia Gylling, the daughter of senator Oscar Fredrik Wilhelm Gylling, in 1915. They had three children: # Lars Viktor (1916–) # Hedvig Elisabet (1919–) # Clara Birgitta (1923–) He and his wife are buried at the Hietaniemi Cemetery. Eino Sandelin, who won bronze in the 1912 games, was his brother. He completed his matriculation exam in Gamlakarleby Swedish Coeducational Gymnasium in 1907 and graduated as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Helsinki in 1916.
