San Lorenzo, Valle
San Lorenzo () is a city, with a population of 35,560 (2023 calculation), and a municipality in the Honduran department of Valle. The city was established by Spaniards as a village in 1522 but not granted city status until 1909. It is the primary Honduran port on the Pacific coast and lies on the Pan American Highway. San Lorenzo is an urban zone in Rome, Italy. Administratively it was part of both Municipio II and Quarter VI Tiburtino. It occupies roughly the two sides of the early stretch of Via Tiburtina, starting from Termini railway station and ending at the Verano area. The latter includes the ancient basilica of San Lorenzo fuori le Mura, from which the district takes its name. Originally a working-class neighbourhood (its inhabitants were mostly workers of the Wuehrer Brewery and the freight yard), it has been a popular, left-oriented area. The Colonne di San Lorenzo or Columns of San Lorenzo is a group of ancient Roman ruins, located in front of the Basilica of San Lorenzo in central Milan, region of Lombardy, northern Italy. In the 4th century, the columns were moved here, after removal from a likely 2nd century pagan temple or public bath house structure. San Lorenzo is a church building in the sestiere of Castello of Venice, northern Italy. The church dates to the 9th century, and became attached to the neighboring Benedictine monastery.
