San Giovannino In Pantaneto, Siena
San Giovannino della Staffa, also known as San Giovannino in Pantaneto is a Renaissance style, Roman Catholic church located on Piazetta Virgilio Grassi, in the Contrada del Leocorno, in the city of Siena, region of Tuscany, Italy. History A Romanesque, 13th-century church at the site was rebuilt in the first half of the 16th century. The church was dedicated to St John the Baptist, and the church or oratory was allied to a lay company of the same name. The architect may have been Giovanni Battista Pelori, a pupil of Baldassarre Peruzzi. The brick facade was completed by 1537. Completion of the body of the church was delayed until the 1590s. Fresco decoration of the interiors were commissioned from 1599 to 1649. The Contrada del Leocorno has been linked to the church for over three centuries. Renaissance Architecture

Bernardino Mei
The Italian painter and engraver Bernardino Mei (1612/15 – 1676) worked in a Baroque manner in his native Siena and in Rome, finding patronage above all in the Chigi family. Briefly a pupil of the Sienese cartographer and draughtsman Giuliano Periccioli, where he learned the art of engraving, Bernardino passed to the studio of the painter Rutilio Manetti and probably also served in the workshop of Francesco Rustici. He painted in and around Siena, where his work came to the attention of Cardinal Fabio Chigi, who, once elected pope as Alexander VII (1655), called Bernardino Mei to Rome in 1657. There Bernardino came under the influences of Mattia Preti, Andrea Sacchi and Pier Francesco Mola, and of Guercino, to the extent that until the 20th century Bernardino's fresco of ''Aurora'' in Palazzo Bianchi Bandinelli was attributed to Guercino himself. Guidoccio Cozzarelli
Guidoccio Cozzarelli (1450–1517) was an Italian Renaissance painter and miniaturist. Cozzarelli was born in Siena, and was a student and collaborator of Matteo di Giovanni, with whom it is sometimes possible to confuse him due to their similar styles, and has led to some difficulty in painting attributions. Compared to Matteo, Cozzarelli's style is less fine, but more adept in chiaroscuro and color scheme. Cozzarelli primarily painted religious-themed works for church commissions, and became more popular as a miniaturist and painter, which includes the parchment preserved in the state in Siena, and the thumbnails stored in Siena Cathedral (1480s). This is considered his most fertile period in which Cozzarelli produced the ''Baptism of Christ'' and the ''Madonna and Saints'' (1486) in the church of San Bernardino in Sinalunga. Niccolo Nasini
Giuseppe Nicola Nasini (January 25, 1657– July 3, 1736) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period, active in Rome and Tuscany. Biography Born in Castel del Piano, now in the Province of Grosseto, Giuseppe was the son of the painter Francesco Nasini and was one of the Tuscan pupils in the Medici-patronized Grand-Ducal Academy for the Arts located in Rome and directed from 1673–86, by Ciro Ferri. He was also sponsored in Rome by Agostino Chigi. From 1679 to 1680, Nasini completed over a dozen portraits of Chigi's family; some are copies of paintings by Jacob Ferdinand Voet and Alessandro Mattia da Farnese. Raffaello Vanni (1590 ca-1673) was an Italian painter of the Baroque. Biography He was born at Siena. He first trained with his father, Francesco Vanni, who died in 1610. He was afterwards sent to Rome, and recommended to the care of Antonio Carracci. He became a follower of the style of Pietro da Cortona. He painted a ''Birth of the Virgin'' for Santa Maria della Pace.
