San'in Main Line
The is a railway line in western Japan, which connects Kyoto and Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). It is the major railway line of the San'in region, approximately paralleling the Japan Sea, crossing Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto, Hyōgo Prefecture, Hyōgo, Tottori Prefecture, Tottori, Shimane Prefecture, Shimane, and Yamaguchi Prefecture, Yamaguchi prefectures. The main portion from Kyoto Station, Kyoto to Hatabu Station, Hatabu is the longest single continuous railway line in Japan at , although no regularly scheduled train operates over the entire line. Sagano Line
The is the popular name for a portion of the Sanin Main Line in the suburbs of Kyoto, Japan. The electrified and double-tracked railway is a commuter rail line in the Osaka-Kobe-Kyoto, Osaka-Kobe-Kyoto Metropolitan Area, owned and operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). The line starts at Kyoto Station and ends at Sonobe Station. The Sagano Line forms part of JR West's "Urban Network". This name has been in use since 1988. The Sea of Japan is the marginal sea between the Japanese archipelago, Sakhalin, the Korean Peninsula, and the mainland of the Russian Far East. is a railway station located in Kankijichō, Shimogyō-ku, Kyoto. The station was opened on 16 March 2019, and operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West), with station number JR-E02.
