Samuel López (tennis Coach)
Samuel López Jareño (born 1 February 1970) is a Spanish tennis coach. In 1990, López helped Antonio Martínez Cascales found the Equelite Academy (later renamed the Ferrero Academy) in Alicante. He continued to work with Cascales as part of the coaching team of Juan Carlos Ferrero. López later coached players including Guillermo García Lopez, Santiago Ventura, and Mariusz Fyrstenberg. López began coaching Pablo Carreño Busta in November 2015, helping him capture seven ATP Tour singles titles and reach a career-high ranking of World No. 10. López parted ways with Carreño in December 2024, when it was announced he would be joining Carlos Alcaraz's coaching team to work alongside head coach Ferrero. Guillermo García López (, born 4 June 1983) is a Spanish tennis coach and a former professional player. He won five singles titles and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 23 in February 2011. As of 2021, he collected thirteen wins over top-10 players, including world No. 1 Rafael Nadal in 2010, world No. 4 Andy Murray in 2012 and world No. 3 Stan Wawrinka in 2014. Pablo Carreño Busta (; born 12 July 1991) is a Spanish professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 10 by the ATP, which he first achieved on 11 September 2017. He also reached a best doubles ranking of No. 16 on 17 July 2017. He has won seven singles titles, including a Masters 1000 title at the Canadian Open, and four doubles titles on the ATP Tour. Ferrero Tennis Academy
The Ferrero Tennis Academy is a tennis academy and training center in Villena, Alicante, Spain. It hosts the JC Ferrero Challenger Open on the ATP Challenger Tour. History The academy was founded in 1990 by Antonio Martínez Cascales, the future coach of Juan Carlos Ferrero. Originally named the Equelite Academy, its name was later changed to the JC Ferrero Equelite Academy in honor of Ferrero, and shortened to the Ferrero Tennis Academy for simplification purposes. It currently houses 20 courts. In 2018, the academy held the inaugural JC Ferrero Challenger Open, the first Challenger tournament to be held in Alicante since 1996. In July 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the academy held an exhibition tournament featuring Pablo Carreño Busta, Alex de Minaur, João Sousa, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, and 17-year-old Carlos Alcaraz. Juan Carlos Ferrero
Juan Carlos Ferrero Donat (; born 12 February 1980) is a Spanish former professional tennis player and current coach. He was ranked as the List of ATP number 1 ranked singles players, world No. 1 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Ferrero won 16 ATP Tour-level singles titles, including the 2003 French Open – Men's singles, 2003 French Open and four ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, Masters events. The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) is the governing body of the men's professional tennis circuits – the ATP Tour and the ATP Challenger Tour.
