Samuel Adewunmi
Samuel Adewunmi (born 1994) is a British actor. He won British Independent Film Award for Breakthrough Performance, Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards 2019, British Independent Film Awards as well as receiving a BIFA Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a British Independent Film, Best Actor nomination for his role in the film ''The Last Tree (film), The Last Tree'' (2019). He was nominated for a BAFTA for his role in the BBC drama ''You Don't Know Me (TV series), You Don't Know Me'' (2021). He was named a 2019 ''Screen International'' Star of Tomorrow. Early life Adewunmi was born in Camden, London to a single Nigerian Yoruba mother, a chef. The British Independent Film Awards 2021 were held on 5 December 2021 to recognise the best in British independent cinema and filmmaking talent from United Kingdom. The nominations were announced on 3 November 2021, by actors Samuel Adewunmi and Mimi Keene via live-stream from the Curzon Soho in London. Trafalgar Theatre is a West End theatre in Whitehall, near Trafalgar Square, in the City of Westminster, London.
