''Samotność po zmierzchu'' is the debut studio album by Polish singer Ania, released in 2004. Background The album's title translates ''Solitude After Dusk''. Ania worked on it with acclaimed Polish producer, Bogdan Kondracki. Album presented wide range of styles: pop, soul, chillout, rhythm and blues. It contained two reworkings of songs by A Camp and OMD. It gathered strongly favourable reviews and achieved great commercial success, reaching #1 in Polish albums chart. Ania (singer)
Anna Monika "Ania" Dąbrowska (; born 7 January 1981), usually referred to as Ania (), is a Polish people, Polish singer, songwriter, and composer performing pop music. Ania rose to stardom in 2004 with the release of ''Samotność po zmierzchu'' which was met with positive critical and commercial reception. The second album, ''Kilka historii na ten sam temat'', was her first to fully incorporate retro style. Ania went on to explore the 1960s aesthetics on two more albums as well as in her visuals and personal image. She is one of the most nominated artists to Fryderyk, the most important music award in Poland, and has been awarded eight times. Chill-out (shortened as chill; also typeset as chillout or chill out) is a loosely defined form of popular music characterized by slow tempos and relaxed moods. A Camp
A Camp is the solo side project of Nina Persson, vocalist for the Swedish indie pop band The Cardigans, her husband, composer Nathan Larson, and former Atomic Swing guitarist Niclas Frisk. Persson formed A Camp when The Cardigans took a break after several years of touring and the recording of their 1998 album '' Gran Turismo''. Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) are an English electronic music, electronic band formed in Meols, Merseyside in 1978 by Andy McCluskey (vocals, bass guitar) and Paul Humphreys (keyboards, vocals). Regarded as pioneers of electronic music, OMD combined an Experimental music, experimental, Minimal music, minimalist ethos with pop sensibilities, becoming key figures in the emergence of synth-pop; McCluskey and Humphreys also introduced the "synth duo" format to British popular music. 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign.
