Sundar Das is an Indian film director in Malayalam movies. He directed more than 10 Malayalam films including ''Sallapam'', Kuberan (2002 film), ''Kuberan'' and Sammanam (1997 film), ''Sammanam''. The Malayalam actress Manju Warrier debuted with his film Sallapam, which was also his debut film. He took a break after Aakasham, ''Akasham'' in 2007 and made a comeback in 2013 with the movie ''Rebecca Uthup Kizhakkemala''. Nadakkaparambil Francis Varghese (6 January 1950 – 19 June 2002) was an Indian actor who worked in the Malayalam film industry. He began his career as a mimicry artist in Kalabhavan, acting in minor roles, but later he turned to strong villainaous roles. '' Akashadoothu'' was his major break through in career. Mamukkoya (5 July 1946 – 26 April 2023) was an Indian actor known for his work predominately in Malayalam cinema. He mostly appeared in comedic roles. His unique usage of Kozhikode dialect and style marked his presence in the industry. In a career spanning over four decades, Mamukkoya acted in more than 450 Malayalam films and was the first winner of the State award for best comedian in Malayalam cinema.
