Sainte-Marie–Saint-Jacques (provincial Electoral District)
Sainte-Marie–Saint-Jacques () is a provincial electoral district in the Urban agglomeration of Montreal, Montreal region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It comprises part of the borough of Ville-Marie, Montreal, Ville-Marie and part of the borough of Le Plateau-Mont-Royal of the city of Montreal, including the eastern portion of Downtown Montreal as well as the Old Montreal, Vieux-Montreal area. It was created for the 1989 Quebec general election, 1989 election from parts of Saint-Jacques (provincial electoral district), Saint-Jacques and Sainte-Marie (provincial electoral district), Sainte-Marie electoral districts. The urban agglomeration of Montreal (, ) is an Urban agglomerations of Quebec, urban agglomeration in Quebec, Canada. Coextensive with the List of regions of Quebec, administrative region of Montreal, it is a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) and a Census geographic units of Canada, census division (CD), for both of which its geographical code is 66. Prior to the merger of the municipalities in ''Region 06'' in 2002, the administrative region was co-extensive with the Montreal Urban Community. Independent Renewal Candidates, 2003 Ontario Provincial Election
{{primary sources, date=December 2009 The Communist Party of Canada - Marxist-Leninist (CPC-ML) ran ten candidates in the 2003 Ontario provincial election. They did not use the CPC-ML name but instead campaigned as "Independent Renewal" candidates. Gilles Rhéaume (25 October 1951 – 8 February 2015) was the former Société Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Montréal president from 1981 to 1985. Rhéaume was leader of the Parti indépendantiste of Quebec from 1987 to its dissolution in 1990. He was later president of the Mouvement souverainiste du Québec. He often denounced the use of English. Jean Ouimet (born September 3, 1954, in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec) is a Canadian politician from Quebec and the president of Naviga-Cité, a multimedia company. He is the former leader of the Parti vert du Québec, a green party, and now an activist in the sovereigntist and social democratic Parti Québécois.
