The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines women's national cricket team is the women's representative cricket team of the country of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. They competed in the West Indies women's domestic cricket structure between 2000 and 2014, after which they were replaced by the Windward Islands. History Saint Vincent and the Grenadines joined the West Indies domestic structure in 2000, playing in the Federation Championships. The results of this season are not recorded. In 2002 they reached the semi-finals of the knockout section of the Championships before winning their first title in 2004, topping the league section of the tournament with 5 wins from 6 games. The flag of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a Canadian pale triband consisting of blue, gold, and green bands charged with three green diamonds at the middle. Adopted in 1985 to replace a similar design used from the time of independence, it has been the flag of Saint Vincent since that year. The design of the present flag entailed substituting the country's coat of arms on a breadfruit leaf with the diamonds. They competed in the West Indies women's domestic cricket structure on and off between 1975 and 2014, after which they were replaced by the Windward Islands. The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines national cricket team is a cricket team representing Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and is a member of the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control. For cricketing purposes, players from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines generally represent the Windward Islands at domestic level and the West Indies at international level. However, the St Vincent & Grenadines team did appear four times in its own right at List A level in the 2002–03 Red Stripe Bowl, the domestic one day competition. 2015 Regional Women's Championship
The 2015 Regional Women's Championship was a 50-over women's cricket competition that took place in the West Indies. It took place in August 2015, with 6 teams taking part and all matches taking place in Trinidad and Tobago. Barbados won the tournament, beating Jamaica in the final to claim their first 50-over title. Competition format The six teams played in a round-robin, therefore playing five matches. Matches were played using a one day format with 50 overs per side. The top two teams in the group advanced to the final. The group worked on a points system with positions being based on the total points. Arnos Vale is a former agricultural estate and now a settlement in Greathead Bay, formerly Warrawarrou Bay, in southern Saint Vincent, in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
