Sadar, Hazaribagh is a community development block (CD block) that forms an administrative division in the Hazaribagh Sadar subdivision of the Hazaribagh district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Overview Hazaribagh district is spread over a part of the Chota Nagpur Plateau. The central plateau, averaging a height of , occupies the central part of the district. On all sides, except on the western side, it is surrounded by the lower plateau, averaging a height of , the surface being undulating. In the north and the north-west the lower plateau forms a fairly level tableland till the ghats, when the height drops to about and slopes down gradually. Sadar (సదర్‌) is a Water Buffalo, buffalo carnival celebrated annually by the Yadav, Yadav community of Hyderabad, Telangana, India as a part of Diwali. It is also known as ''Dunnapothula panduga (దున్నపోతుల పండుగ) ('Festival of the Buffalo Cattle' in Telugu)'' and it occurs on the second day after Diwali. The buffaloes are decorated with garlands of flowers, painted horns, and paraded through the streets, often accompanied by the crowd dancing to the sounds of teen maar Special Yadav Band (Da Daniki). The animals are sometimes encouraged to rear up on their hind legs. Sadar was started by the late Sri Salandri Nyayam Chowdhary Mallaiah Yadav in 1946 at Naryanguda YMCA, Hyderabad. The Sadar River is a tributary of the Elorz (river), Elorz River, which rises in the Aranguren and Tajonar mountain ranges, running in a westerly direction, between the Eocene marls of the Cuenca de Pamplona. It is 19 km long and drains a basin of some 70 km2. The average rainfall it receives, 700 mm, gives it an estimated annual flow of 12 hm³. Sadar North Baptist Association (SNBA) is a Baptists, Baptist Christian denomination in Tripura. It is located within the West Tripura district of Tripura in India. History SNBA started as a small circle within the Central Baptist Association of Tripura Baptist Christian Union (TBCU).
