"S tou nádejou choď spať" () is a duet by Marika Gombitová and Janko Lehotský, originally recorded in 1978. The song, written by Lehotský and Boris Filan, topped on the Slovak TV hitparade ''Našich 9'' () in 1978. However, for the first time, being released in 2010 on the Gombitová's duets compilation '' Duetá'' issued by OPUS. Marika Gombitová
Marika Gombitová (; born 12 September 1956) is a Slovak singer-songwriter and musician. Once a member of Modus (band), Modus, Gombitová started to gain early acclaim as a former female vocalist of the group. Nevertheless, she gradually developed her publicity, public image as a solo artist, making Boľavé námestie, own debut on gramophone record, short play in 1977. Subsequently, after topping the local record chart, music charts with "Študentská láska" (1978), her debut studio album, set entitled ''Dievča do dažďa'' (1979) saw its eventual results on OPUS Records. The album's lead single, lead "Vyznanie", earned several music awards; most notably at the Intervision Song Contest, 4th Intervision Song Contest held in Poland (1980). Modus (band)
Modus was a popular Slovak band, originally established in 1967 by Stanislav Hrda, Ján Baláž, Peter Krutek, Juraj Czinege, Tomáš Bery Psota, Ľubomír Stankovský, Gabriel Wertlen and Miroslav Žbirka in the former Czechoslovakia. The formation (identified nowadays as ''Modus 0'') initially played cover versions of the 60's hits. A major change followed after the arrival of Ján Lehotský who joined the ensemble in 1972, and became their leader.
