SMU Mustangs Men's Basketball
The SMU Mustangs men's basketball team represents Southern Methodist University (SMU) in University Park, Texas and competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference of NCAA Division I college basketball. In 104 years of basketball, SMU's record is 1,377–1,237. SMU has reached one Final Four, made 12 NCAA Tournament Appearances, won 16 Conference Championships, had 11 All-Americans, and 23 NBA Draft selections. SMU finished the 2016–17 season with a 30–5 record, and won their second conference title in three years. 2014 National Invitation Tournament
The 2014 National Invitation Tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 32 NCAA Division I teams that were not selected to participate in the 2014 NCAA tournament. The annual tournament started on campus sites for the first three rounds, with the Final 4 and championship game being held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The tournament began on Tuesday, March 18 and ended on Thursday, April 3. The Indiana Pacers are an American professional basketball team based in Indianapolis. The Pacers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Central Division (NBA), Central Division of the Eastern Conference (NBA), Eastern Conference. Fort Wayne Mad Ants
The Noblesville Boom are an American professional basketball team based in Noblesville, Indiana that competes in the NBA G League. The Boom are the affiliate team of the NBA's Indiana Pacers and, since 2025, they have played their home games at The Arena at Innovation Mile. In September 2015, Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E), parent company of the Indiana Pacers, purchased the franchise. Ben Alexander Moore (born May 13, 1995) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Çağdaş Bodrumspor of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for Southern Methodist University (SMU). Jesusemilore Talodabijesu "Semi" Ojeleye ( ; born December 5, 1994) is a Nigerian-American professional basketball player for Valencia of the Spanish Liga ACB. He played college basketball for both Duke University and Southern Methodist University. Early life and college career Ojeleye's parents emigrated from Nigeria to Ottawa, Kansas. Tim Jankovich
Timothy Robert Jankovich (born June 4, 1959) is an American former college basketball coach and former head coach at Southern Methodist University. During his first year (2007–08) at Illinois State, Jankovich led the Redbirds to a 13–5 second-place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference – even though pre-season polls voted the team to be a fifth-place finisher. He was an assistant basketball coach at Kansas for four years, and served under current Kansas head coach Bill Self at Kansas and Illinois.
