Samsung Galaxy S9
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are Android-based smartphones unveiled, manufactured, released and marketed by Samsung Electronics as part of the Galaxy S series. The devices were revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on 25 February 2018, as the successors to the Galaxy S8 and S8+. It is the last Galaxy S series line to have an iris scanner, variable aperture lens, notification light. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ have nearly identical features to the S8 models, with the same display sizes and aspect ratio as their predecessors. One highly regarded change to distinguish between the models is the location of the fingerprint sensor. While the S8's is found beside the camera, the S9's is directly underneath it just like the A series. Most notably, however, the S9 line is equipped with several camera improvements over the S8. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is a series of Android-based tablets developed and marketed by Samsung Electronics. Unveiled at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26, 2023, in Seoul, South Korea, they serve as the successor to the Galaxy Tab S8 series. The tablet's announcement, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Watch 6, marked the first Galaxy Unpacked to be held in Samsung's home country of South Korea. The tablets were released on August 11, 2023. S9 (classification)
S9, SB8, SM9 are para-swimming classifications used for categorizing swimmers based on their level of disability. Swimmers in this class generally have severe weakness in one leg. This class includes a number of different disabilities including people with amputations and cerebral palsy. The classification is governed by the International Paralympic Committee, and competes at the Paralympic Games. Definition This classification is for swimming. In the classification title, S represents Freestyle, Backstroke and Butterfly strokes. SB means breaststroke. SM means individual medley. Jane Buckley, writing for the Sporting Wheelies, describes the swimmers in this classification as having: "severe weakness in one leg only; Swimmers with very slight coordination problems; Swimmers with one limb loss.
