Rödermark-Ober Roden Station
Rödermark-Ober Roden station () is the station of the Rödermark suburb of Ober-Roden in the German state of Hesse. It is the southern terminus of line S1 of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn and a stop for RB 61 Regionalbahn services on the Dreieich Railway. It is classified in station category 4 and is a hub for public transport. The station building is a listed building. History Ober-Roden was connected to the railway network in 1896 with the opening of the Rodgau Railway (''Rodgaubahn''), which connected Offenbach (Main) Hauptbahnhof via Ober-Roden to Dieburg on the Rhine-Main Railway. The first part of the present entrance building was built during its construction. The Dreieich Railway (''Dreieichbahn'') was opened in 1905, running from Buchschlag on the Main-Neckar Railway via Urberach. The modernisation of the Dreieich Railway began in 1997. DBAG Class 423
The Deutsche Bahn Class 423 EMU is a light-weight articulated electric railcar for S-Bahn commuter networks in Germany. The train has similar dimensions to its predecessor, the Class 420 EMU, but is significantly lighter and has one large passenger compartment, while that of the 420 is divided into three parts. The 423 additionally has six doors in each carriage (three on each side), which is down from eight on the 420 (four on each side). They are numbered from 423 001 to 423 462. Both Munich and Frankfurt ordered Class 423s for their S-Bahn systems; they were delivered between 1999 and 2004. Offenbach am Main Hauptbahnhof is a railway station serving the German city of Offenbach am Main. It is located on the Frankfurt–Göttingen railway between Frankfurt and Hanau on the south bank of the Main. It is also the starting point of the Rodgau Railway, via Obertshausen, Rodgau and Ober-Roden to Dieburg (originally to Reinheim). Dieburg Station
Dieburg station is located in the town of Dieburg in the German state of Hesse on the Rhine-Main Railway (), which runs from Mainz via Darmstadt to Aschaffenburg. Rödermark is a town in the Offenbach district in the ''Regierungsbezirk'' of Darmstadt in Hesse, Germany, southeast of Frankfurt am Main and northeast of Darmstadt.
