RusVelo Women's Team, a part of the Russian Global Cycling Project (which included Team Katusha and Itera–Katusha), was a Russian road & track cycling team. RusVelo included both RusVelo, men's and women's rosters. Team history 2014 Riders out On November 5 Elena Kuchinskaya left the team to join Servetto Footon as did Tatiana Antoshina on November 8. Road Bicycle Racing
Road bicycle racing is the cycle sport discipline of road cycling, held primarily on Road surface, paved roads. Road racing is the most popular professional form of bicycle racing, in terms of numbers of competitors, events and spectators. A UCI Women's Team is a women's road bicycle team sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI). These teams compete in the major List of women's road bicycle races, women's bicycle races including the UCI Women's World Tour. The country designation of each team is determined by the country of registration of the most its riders, and is not necessarily the country where the team is registered or based. WorldTeams UCI Women's WorldTeams are automatically invited to compete in UCI Women's World Tour events. Eva Lechner (born 1 July 1985) is an Italian multi-discipline cyclist, who has won at least one national title in cyclo-cross, road bicycle racing and mountain bike racing. She won the team relay at the 2012 Mountain bike World Championships together with Luca Braidot, Marco Aurelio Fontana and Beltain Schmid. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's cross-country finishing in 17th place. At the 2008 Summer Olympics she finished 16th in the Women's cross-country.
