RuPaul's Drag Race Season 15
The fifteenth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' premiered January 6, 2023. The Reality television#Reality competition or game shows, reality competition series moved to MTV for broadcast, instead of VH1 in the United States. This season features the largest cast in the show's history, with sixteen queens competing for an amount of $200,000, the largest cash prize in the show's history. It is also the first season to feature biological twins, Sugar and Spice (drag queens), Sugar and Spice. Series judges Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, and Ross Mathews returned, and Ts Madison, who had previously appeared as a recurring guest judge, joined the judges panel. The season was won by Sasha Colby, the third trans person to win the main series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race,'' with Anetra as the runner-up. Malaysia Babydoll Foxx was named Miss Congeniality. RuPaul Andre Charles (born November 17, 1960; stylized as RuPaul) is an American drag queen, television personality, actor, musician, and model. Best known for producing, hosting, and judging the reality competition series '' RuPaul's Drag Race'', he has received several accolades, including 12 Primetime Emmy Awards, three GLAAD Media Awards, a Critics' Choice Television Award, two ''Billboard'' Music Awards, and a Tony Award. Luxx Noir London (born September 5, 1999) is an American drag performer, singer and songwriter most known for competing on the fifteenth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race.'' Early life and education Luxx Noir London was raised in East Orange, New Jersey. She attended the Cicely Tyson School of Performing and Fine Arts and earned a degree in musical theater from New Jersey City University. Her parents have always supported her, instilling values of self-love and confidence. The tenth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' began airing on March 22, 2018, on VH1. The premiere was broadcast one week after the finale of the third season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars'', and episodes are to be followed by ''RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked''. RuPaul's Drag Race Season 1
The first season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' premiered in the United States on February 2, 2009, on Logo. Nine contestants were selected to compete in the running of becoming "America's Next Drag Superstar." The first season was filmed during the summer of 2008. The winner of the first season won a cash prize of $20,000, $5,000 worth of MAC Cosmetics, was featured in an LA Eyeworks campaign, and joined the Logo Drag Race tour. One of the nine contestants to compete on ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', Nina Flowers was determined by an audience vote via the show's official website to be the season's Miss Congeniality.
